Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain the rules for using Trailhead Jobs at trailheadjobs.com (the "Site"). Trailhead Jobs is operated by Trailhead Jobs LLC ("Trailhead Jobs," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. What Trailhead Jobs is

Trailhead Jobs is a job board for outdoor work: ski and snow, camps and outdoor education, guiding, conservation, lodges and parks, and outdoor brands. We collect job openings from employers' own websites and hiring systems, summarize them in our own words, and link to the employer's official application. Employers can also post jobs directly.

We are not an employer, recruiter or staffing agency. We don't hire for any job listed, take part in hiring decisions, or guarantee that you will get an interview or a job.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• Give us a real email address that you control. We use it to confirm your account, sign you in and send account and billing messages.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person. Don't share your account or your Trailhead Pass with others.

3. The Trailhead Pass

• Price. The Trailhead Pass costs $5 per month (plus any tax that applies). It unlocks every job listing, search and filters.
• Automatic renewal. Your Pass renews every month and your payment method is charged automatically until you cancel.
• Cancel anytime. You can cancel from your Account page at any time. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the month you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• Refunds. Because you can cancel at any time, we don't give refunds for partial months. If you were charged by mistake, email us at hello@trailheadjobs.com within 30 days and we'll make it right.
• Price changes. If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
• Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

4. Job listings

• Posting is free. Employers can post jobs on Trailhead Jobs for free.
• Accuracy. We confirm each listing on the employer's own site when we add it and check listings regularly, but jobs close and details change. Pay, dates, housing and requirements can be different from what's shown. Always confirm details with the employer before you apply or accept an offer.
• Applying. You apply directly with the employer through their own website or email. What happens after that is between you and the employer.
• Closed jobs. If you find a closed or incorrect listing, use the "Job closed?" link on the listing so we can check it.
• Employers. If you are an employer and want a listing changed or removed, email hello@trailheadjobs.com and we'll take care of it promptly.
• Stay safe. A real employer won't ask you to pay to apply or to send money, bank details or ID numbers before hiring you. If a listing seems off, report it to us.

5. Rules for using the Site

You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, crawl or download listings or other content from the Site in bulk, or use bots or automated tools to access it;
• Resell, republish or share the content you unlock with your Pass;
• Try to get around the paywall, security or account limits;
• Post or send anything false, misleading, harmful or illegal;
• Interfere with the Site or anyone else's use of it.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If we close your account for breaking these Terms, we don't owe a refund.

6. Our content

The Site's design, text, summaries and features belong to Trailhead Jobs or the people we license them from. Employer names and logos belong to their owners. Your Pass gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Site for your own job search. It doesn't give you ownership of any content.

7. Links to other sites

Listings link to employers' websites and hiring systems. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices or hiring decisions.

8. Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that the Site will always be available or error free, or that any listing is accurate, current or still open.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Trailhead Jobs is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost wages, lost opportunities or lost data, arising from your use of the Site or any job you find through it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using the Site and delete your account at any time by emailing hello@trailheadjobs.com. Cancel your Pass first so you aren't charged again. We may suspend or end access to the Site if you break these Terms or if we stop operating the Site. If we shut down the Site, we'll cancel active Passes and refund any unused, prepaid time.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make a significant change, we'll post the new version here, update the date above and email account holders. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
